Being Human

Ok. So which BBC controller's arse do I have to kick to get this pilot made into a series?

I really need to start blogging again.

However, I'm still too busy / feeling lazy / can't be arsed / dunno what to put. Delete as appropriate.

Well, bollocks!

The car's nackered. Half of South Yorkshire is underwater and Emma went through a ford-that-wasn't and flooded it coming home from work. No idea how bad the damage is. There were half a dozen stranded cars on that stretch, all abandoned. Picked her up with the help of a mate with 110 Defender. God knows how long it'll be before we can pick it up. I gave the reg and the details to SY police. They'll contact us if it's gets moved. Till then we've just gotta wait till a tow truck is available and the flooding stops. Might be a while...

So with the Critical Hit Halowene fancy dress bash coming round again, we've been banging our heads to together trying to decide what costumes to go as (There's only so many times you can rock up as Lara Croft and Gordon Freeman). So following on from the previous time, we thought about it we've finally decided to go ahead and go as Revan and Bastila  as were a bit better off financialy this year so can spend the cash.

And cash we need! Having checked and sourced all the nessersary materials and clothing items, it looks like the costumes for the four of us (Yvonne and Dave are coingin jedi garb too) are going to come to about £200 each! $400 a pop!

Yikes! I hope the others are willing to chip in at least half!
